Abbotsley Golf Hotel & Country Club, Cambridgeshire in England
Abbotsley is a charming golfer's retreat situated on the site of an ancientmanor house, amidst 250 acres of gently undulating parkland in the old
county of Huntingdonshire.
The Abbotsley course, venue to several notable amateur and county events
over the years, was designed by Vivian Saunders OBE and enjoys a reputation
as one of the finest 18-hole courses in the area, with its holes meandering
through woods and streams. The many attractive natural features provide
a great challenge as well as a stunning setting. One of the most memorable
holes is the Par 3 second, known as the Mousehole, it requires an accurate
tee shot to a green that is protected by a stream and shaded by the many
trees that surround it.
After playing, golfers can relax in the friendly environment of the
clubhouse or, when the weather is agreeable, in the wonderful surroundings
of the courtyard garden which overlooks the putting green.
