The Bedfordshire Golf Club, Bedfordshire in England

Originally founded in 1891 the club has recently re-located from Biddenham
to its new home at Stagsden two miles from Bedford. The new course, designed
by Cameron Sinclair, is set between the ancient woods of Hanger and Oxley
and is regarded as the best course in the region.
From the 1st tee, the course lets you know straight away that the Bedfordshire
is not for the faint hearted; at 6,565 yards par 70 it really is a course
of two halves. The first nine will test your irons and the second your
woods, whilst the extensive greens will challenge the putter.
The Club House has a private members lounge, public spikes bar, 130 seat
function room and offers an extensive range of food and drink to satisfy
all tastes. The site also has a 24 bay driving range and a par 3 course
(opening in Spring 2001). The club extends a warm welcome to visitors
in the sure knowledge that they will certainly wish to come back.
