Belvoir Park Golf Club, Co. Antrim in Ireland

"I thought Belvoir Park was the best inland course I've ever played
on." These are the words of the famed Harry Bradshaw who won the
Irish Open Championship here in 1949. No tribute could have been more
deserved. Bradshaw is just one of the many to have been captivated by
the beauty and quality of this exhilarating course.
Designed in 1927 by the celebrated British architect H.S. Colt, Belvoir
has certainly stood the test of time. This was evidenced in 1995 when
the club successfully staged the Smurfit Irish P.G.A. Championship won
by Ireland's Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton who said the course was magnificent.

Fairways lined with Scots pine, Douglas firs and many other magnificent
varieties create an unsurpassed ambience. It is a very difficult task
to nominate a signature hole at Belvoir-the par threes live in the memory,
but it is the dramatic 17th hole that most golfers will remember. It is
no surprise that esteemed golfers such as Peter Alliss and Fred Daly have
rated Belvoir Park as one of the best inland courses in the British Isles.

Consistently ranked in Ireland's Top 30 Greatest Golf Courses it will
doubtless stand the test of time and remain there for generations to come.
