Blackwood Golf Club, Co. Down in Ireland

The 18 hole Hamilton course has been carved out of Clandeboye Estate,
combining the existing enviromental features with contemporary new woodland.
Providing a challenge to players of all abilities it hosted the PGA Ulster
Championship for the first time in September 1995.
The course features some extremely testing holes with the long par 4,
fifth worthy of particular note. Renowned for its excellent condition,
"the greens are outstanding and certainly among the best in the Province"
(Jack Magowan, Belfast Telegraph). In addition to the Championship course
there is also the testing Par 3 Temple Course... "real golf but in half
the time of a usual round" (Mark Robson, Editor Irish Golf International).

Blackwood also offers the golfer a professional teaching academy, first
class driving range and the highly acclaimed Shanks Restaurant.
