Bognor Regis Golf Club, West Sussex in England
The Bognor Regis Golf Club was established in 1892 and tolerated twounsatisfactory 9 holes before, in 1922, settling at its present 18 hole
course at Innerwyke; a place once described as "a charming, peaceful and
rustic spot". James Braid planned the course and F.G. Hawtree constructed
it.
Within easy reach of the sea and with views over the South Downs, the
course presents a challenge for the ablest of golfers. Its fairways are
divided by a mix of hedges, trees and small streamlets and the whole is
bounded by a larger waterway, the Aldingbourne Rife.
The newly refurbished flint-walled barn Clubhouse and extension contains
a welcoming bar and dining room and exemplary changing facilities.
