Dullatur Golf Club, Strathclyde in Scotland

Lying to the north of Cumbernauld, Dullatur Golf Club is centrally located
for easy access from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling and features two
18-hole courses. The Carrickstone and the Antonine.
Carrickstone Course - Originally established in 1896, the course
was extended to 18 holes in 1926 under the watchful eye of the immortal
James Braid. For the next 70 years the Dullatur course, as it was known
would serve the club's purposes admirably. However in 1996, the Centenary
year and a watershed in the club's history, Dullatur relocated to a magnificent
purpose built clubhouse and radical changes were made to the James Braid
course. It was renamed the Carrickstone course and at 6,200 yards long
the layout contains the excellence of the old with the best of the new.
Antonine Course - The new course at Dullatur was designed by Dave
Thomas, a latter day James Braid, and opened for play in 1996. It is somewhat
shorter than its sister course at 5,875 yards but they both have a variety
of different hole layouts to satisfy all skill levels. Overlooking the
Kelvin Valley with the backdrop of the Campsie Hills affording magnificent
views, Dullatur provides an ideal location for the visiting golfer.
