Dungannon Golf Club, Co. Tyrone in Ireland
This pleasant undulating parkland course which is set amongst numerousmature, native trees has been extended in the past few years with the
advice of its well known member Darren Clarke.
Water hazards feature on three of the extended holes with the signature
hole being the ninth with its elevated tee, and magnificent views over
the course and nearby historic town.
Recent plantings of hundreds of specimen trees are developing well to
enhance the popularity of this illustrious old club. Formed in 1890, it
is one of the founder members of the Golfing Union of Ireland. The trophy
cabinet houses the 'Aughnacloy Putter'. This silver, ivory and cane relic
is one of the oldest prizes in golf.
