Fraserburgh Golf Club, Grampian in Scotland

Fraserburgh Golf Club can claim it's origins as far back as 1779 at
Fraserburgh Links. The present course was designed by the legendary James
Braid in the early 1920's. It is a natural links course built over sandy
dunes and provides an excellent test of golf.
A splendid view is presented to the golfer after the first couple of
holes; from high up in the dunes the vista extends beyond the bay and
the town far out to the North Sea.
There is a fine finish to the course and in particular the par 3 17th
which often requires a straight and true shot into the wind to find the
putting surface some 190 yards in the distance.
There is also a nine hole course at Fraserburgh and two practice areas,
with a warm welcome assured in the clubhouse.
