Hopeman Golf Club, Grampian in Scotland

The course is a typical Scottish links and was only extended to eighteen
holes as recently as 1985. Further improvements to the course involving
the construction of new tees and bunkers, have added to the difficulty
already evident in the gorse and whins which border the fairways.
The signature hole at Hopeman is the par 3 12th known as 'The Prieshach'
where the ball must be carried all the way to the green some 100 feet
below, where it nestles in the Clashach Cove. The superb views over the
Moray Firth, where occasionally dolphins can be sighted, are an additional
bonus at this excellent golfing location.
