Invergordon Golf Club, Grampian in Scotland
Formed over 100 years ago, Invergordon Golf Club is located 25 milesnorth of Inverness. Originally 9 holes, the course was extended to 18
holes in 1996 and offers a fair test for member and visitor alike. Despite
being beside the sea, the course is parkland with lush fairways and has
a good mix of long and short holes.
Bordered by a mixture of rhododendrons and trees and with strategically
placed bunkers, a pleasant and interesting round of golf can be enjoyed
by all. Nor is the course too demanding physically, though it measures
6030yards with SSS 69. Set in the stunning scenery of Easter Ross, the
course looks out over the Cromarty Firth to the Black Isle and has an
attractive backdrop of hills and mountains.
