Inverness Golf Club, Grampian in Scotland

Inverness Golf Club is well over one hundred years old, having been
founded in 1883 at 'a meeting of Gentlemen interested in the formation
of a Golf Club'. The result of that momentous occasion is a splendid eighteen
hole parkland course with an exacting par of 69 and a SSS 70, measuring
some 6226 yards from the medal tees.
The club is situated just one mile from the Town Centre and golfers have
long recognised the quality of the Culcabock course, as it is known locally.

The course relies on the clever use of trees and bunkers and no Highland
venue worth its salt would be complete without a punishing water hazard,
in this case the Diriebught burn. The clubhouse is less than a year old
and provides excellent facilities in which to relax after a challenging
round of golf.
