Inverurie Golf Course, Grampian in Scotland

Situated fifteen miles north west of Aberdeen, the Oil Capital of Europe,
Inverurie golf course is a pleasant parkland design, with splendid views
over the surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside. The 1999 Open Champion
Paul Lawrie played some of his junior golf here. Accuracy is of paramount
importance at Inverurie, particularly over some of the inward holes. The
tree lined fairways demand continued concentration from the player and
more often than not discretion (in the form of an iron off the tee) is
the better part of valour. The course measures 5711 yards with a par of
69. The clubhouse offers a welcoming atmosphere, bar and changing facilities
with year round catering.
