Keir Golf Course, Strathclyde in Scotland
The Keir Course is less physically demanding than its neighbour butremains an exacting test for any golfer. Tightly guar ded small greens
are a feature of the Keir with the emphasis firmly on accuracy rather
than length. The grounds of the club, including the 17th century mansion
house are bisected by part of the Roman Antonine Wall, built by the Roman
governor of Britain in 142 AD. The 2nd Augustan Legion's identity stone
still remains within the clubhouse.
