This wonderful West Clare course is set in rolling parkland, overlooking
the beautiful Shannon Estuary and the Monastic ruins of Scattery Island.
In his design, Dr. Arthur Spring has created a most enjoyable and yet
challenging course.
The par-3 9th, played from a plateau and guarded by water, sand and trees
is a truly marvellous hole, while the closing stretch into the prevailing
wind is a test for the best.
