Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Club, Grampian in Scotland

Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Club, which was founded in 1888, was originally
set out along the links area which lies between the village of Newburgh
and the estuary of the River Ythan - this area currently accommodates
the back nine holes.
In April 1996 the course was extended to incorporate a new nine holes
which were constructed on the Foveran Links to the south of the Ythan
estuary. The course has all the attributes of a traditional links, with
subtle undulations on fairway and green, elevated tees and excellent year-round
conditions.
The greens are renowned for their quality and consistency, while a warm
welcome, superb catering and panoramic views can be enjoyed in the brand
new clubhouse.
